As Europe’s most southern ski resort it is a must for those that enjoy the sunshine of the Costa del Sol in the summer and the added bonus of Spain’s best kept secret in the winter.

Granada has excellent road links to the coast and to any other areas of Spain. The rail road also gives access to the surrounding area of Granada and the rest of Spain. Granada has its own international airport situated north-west of the city, flights can be arranged for as little as a penny each way.*

Spain is world famous for its tapas and Granada can offer you a delicious insight into this Spanish tradition. The word tapas means “to cover”, it is thought that this term came from the process of placing a piece of bread on the drinks in bars to keep away fruit flies. At some point food began to be placed on the bread as a snack, since then tapas have changed from simply bread to a wide selection of snacks that dinners share.
